Why take separate cell salts/tissue salts when you can take the 12 in 1 Combination?

Let’s talk a little about what tissue salts are.

They are known as the Biochemic salts which are minerals found in the earth as well as in the human body. Biochemistry means the chemistry of life, the study of chemistry of the human organism.

Biochemics is a specific medicinal system, the pioneering work of Dr Schuessler, which looks at a limited but specific number of chemicals in the body. In his time (19th century) with it’s limitations, he found that certain minerals were essential to the healthy functioning of the body ie building blocks, and that specific disorders could be associated with specific deficiencies. If certain functions of the body were negatively affected, the body would react by showing symptoms, and these symptoms related to an imbalance of a certain tissue salt.

Each tissue salt is associated with specific disorders and symptoms. When you take a specific tissue salt, it will then work on the area that it has the affinity for and where it has a sphere of action.

For example, Mag phos is known as the homeopathic aspirin because it is good for relieving pain and is a natural painkiller.

Another example: Calc-phos supports the development of teeth, bones, nails.

So there is a symptom/disorder/sphere of action that is targeted with a specific salt.

Similarly with the other tissue salts. They are targeted at specific symptoms and disorders.

The 12 in 1 Combo: When all 12 tissue salts are combined, the specificity of the salts is lost. So you will get a combined effect which will tend to be generalized in the body. The salts will need to work with one another to fill in what the body needs overall.

So if you want to target a particular area, then thie 12 in 1 combination is not ideal. There is no harm in using it, but you may find it takes a very long time, if at all, to achieve a specific result. That is why this 12 in 1 combination is suggested for use as a general tonic to boost the body overall.

There are specific combinations available (apart from the 12 in 1 combo), which target specific areas. These small combinations are specific for their sphere of action. You can find these combinations online very easily, so I will not list them here.

I hope this helps to clarify the issue of separate tissue salts vs the 12 in 1 combination.

NOTE: Tissue salts are different from homeopathic remedies. I have another blog on this if you want to learn about the differences
